Announcing FiGPiN’s Unlock Day policy

To help even the playing field of who can achieve the first unlock of newly released pins, FiGPiN is instituting a new Unlock Day policy.

From now on, FiGPiNs can only be unlocked once the Unlock Day arrives. 

All upcoming unlock days will now be 12 days from the day after a new release (except for preordered items, which will be dealt with outside of this window, depending on the circumstances).

If you receive your FiGPiN and try to unlock it in the app before the unlock day, the app will give you a message outlining when the FiGPiN is eligible to unlock.

The unlock days from some recent releases have shifted, due to shipping delays (and this new policy):

Clone Wars Wave 2 unlock day is now March 2nd, 2021

Stranger Things Box Set is March 4th, 2021

The unlock time will be randomly selected between 12:01am through 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time of the 12th day.
